Step 1 : Get your account
Make a new account at: www.elitecabal.com


Step 2: Downloading the client
Note: If you have another client version, just ignore this step.
Download an official Cabal Client from any of these mirrors:

• Link 1: Full Client Download (download.com)
• Link 2: Full Client Download (download.com)
• Link 3: Full Client Download (fileplanet.com)
• Link 4: Full Client Download (filefront.com)

Step 3: Downloading the patches
Download the two patches from here:

• Link 1: EliteCabal FullPatch
• Link 2: EliteCabal MiniPatch

Step 4: Installing
Now that you have the three files in the same folder it's time to install them.

Step 4.1: Installing Cabal
Double click your cabal install file.
Install it in the desired folder (ie: C:\Cabal\)

Step 4.2: Installing the Patches

Step 5: Starting the game.
Go to your Cabal installation folder and double click EliteCabal.exe
It will start the update application, wait until it's finished and then click Start Cabal.

Now, here is how you will see the new patcher:

MECHANICS:

- the top 8 guilds with highest honor points (x100 and x300) may select their strongest member/champion to participate in this event (8 players total). top 8 guilds (in terms of accumulated honor points) for ECx100 and x300 by end of Feb. 21 midnight (gmt+8 ph time) will be the only guilds to participate.

- after the top 8 guilds have been selected, i will require the Guild Leaders of the participating guilds to select his chosen champion member to participate in the contest (one participant per guild)

- players will have an elimination bout (best of 7 rounds) in the manner shown below.

- guildmates may help their selected champion in terms of equipment but be reminded that we will not be liable in case you got scammed or something

- i will personally check the participant's account to make sure there are no cheats involved during the contest. cheat = perm ban

- losing participants from the winners bracket will be moved to the losers bracket for another chance to win the event. but the winner from the loser's bracket will need to beat the top player from the winner's bracket in two rounds of best-of-seven to win the event.

- this event will NOT be a single day event.. i will schedule the matches depending on when im available to watch and also when the participants will also be available.- dont like my conditions? then dont join, no ones forcing yah.

- once the guild representative/champion has been selected by the guild leader (yes, the GL will be the one to chose who will be the guild champion), you can no longer change who will participate in the event. so think carefully who will be the player from your guild.

- the bout will start with a roll of the dice. before two champions start the first round of pvp, i will require each player to roll the dice ONCE. the player who got the lesser amount of dice points will be the one to invite for pvp. both players will take turns on inviting for pvp in the succeeding rounds.

- THE EVENT WILL BE A FREE STYLE PVP EVENT.. BUT WITH THE FOLLOWING RESTRICTIONS:

1.) FORCE BLADERS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO USE MANA FREEZE FOR OBVIOUS REASONS.

2.) AURA AND BATTLE MODE WILL NOT BE ALLOWED.

3.) PARTY BUFFS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED.

4.) VIOLATE THESE RULES AND YOU LOSE THE ROUND TO YOUR OPPONENT.

PRIZES (GREAT PRIZES SINCE THE GUILD IS ALSO INVOLVED):

CHAMPION: 1 RW3 PERM + 4 PERM ASTRAL BOARDS + 6 PERF CORES

RUNNER UP: 3 PERM BOARDS + 4 PERF CORES

3RD: 2 PERM BOARDS + 2 PERF CORES
